Abstract

: The article presents a training model aimed at the formation of sociocultural competence in 7–11 years old students from ethnic communities in Bulgaria, based on Geert Hofstede’s (2003) theory of culture. A schematical de-scription of the teaching methodology of the model is offered as well as some results of a study among the trained students conducted according to pre-defined criteria and indicators.
