Abstract

The paper presents a novel approach to power network optimization, considering the criteria of short-circuit currents, voltage levels, current-carrying capacity of power transmission lines and transformers, static stability margins. The presented approach is analyzed with other research works in the sphere under consideration. Practical verifications of the proposed methodology is carried out on the basis of real power network, given real dispatch and technological constraint of the power equipment.
