It was also observed that enamel insulation markedly enhanced surface breakdown voltages of pressboard. Abstract

This paper investigates breakdown voltages of enamel insulation of transformer wire in rice oil, corn oil and peanut oil. Experiments were performed with both new and aged conditions.
