Abstract

The implementation of telepresence technology brings promising advantages for numerous technical systems. In the field of manual microassembly, where low batches are still handmade with microscopes and tweezers it offers ergonomic improvements and new production scenarios, since the worker is separated from the production environment and only connected via networks.
