The proposed converter has been tested and able to detect the Open Circuit Fault (OCF) within one cycle and recover within five to six cycles. Abstract

In this paper, a fault-tolerant single-phase AC-DC boost matrix converter is proposed. The proposed converter is based on a Single-Phase Matrix Converter (SPMC) configuration.
