Abstract

The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ), which in 2008 celebrated its 120th anniversary since being founded, established the honor of “One Step on Electro-Technology - Look Back to the Future -." This system unveils and respects electrical technologies in Japan that are not well known to society, but which have contributed greatly to social life. The Institute has already made honorable recognition of 52 technologies through March 2015.
