Abstract

With the advent of Smart Meters, the data transactions between the meters & main data centers have become a matter of utmost importance. The present method through Data Collectors and Hand Held Units are not reliable as one can't ensure 100% data collection, they are time consuming, requires manual labor, which in turn may be error prone due to human intervention.
