Abstract

In this paper, a systematic modeling approach is established to represent Type-IV wind turbine generators (WTGs) in multiphase and unbalanced load flow analysis. The proposed modeling technique is developed using modified augmented nodal analysis (MANA) formulation. The constraints on the sequence components of the injected currents from WTGs are integrated to the multiphase load flow equations which are formulated using Newton's method.
