Abstract

This work is a compilation of lessons learned from the analysis of power transformer failures occurred in North and South America based on data collected by Doble Engineering Company over the last ten years. The paper includes annual failure rates and related reports based on voltage rating, failure cause, manufacturing decade, age distribution, among other parameters.
