Based on the beamforming algorithm, this paper proposes a theoretical model of direction determination of the drill bit by using a line array sensor. The model collects the vibration signal of the drill bit into the formation through a line array formed by multiple acceleration sensors. Obtain the directivity function values at different angles through signal processing algorithms such as beamforming to estimate the direction of the drill bit.
