Abstract

Among the four major forces responsible for the thr ee dimensional structure of a protein, hydrophobic force is the dominant one. A protein is functional only after it attains its three dime nsional structure. In this age of rising popularity of alte rnate energy resources, it is known that the bacter i , Chlorobium tepidum is capable of harvesting energy. In this paper, the authors aim to investigate the hydrophobic mapping of protein sequences of Chlorobium tepidum.
