Abstract

The formulation of transient stability-constrained optimal power flow and finding its practical solution have recently attracted much attention. In this paper, an approach to improve the transient stability, with increasing critical clearing time (CCT) of the system is presented. This improvement has effects on electricity market prices and local marginal prices (LMP) due to changing the power flow of the line and output powers of the generators.
