The LVRT burden of PMSG can be reduced by the pitch system in the whole wind speed range. Abstract

A power coordinated control method is proposed in this paper. It is used to improve the low voltage ride through (LVRT) capability of wind turbines with permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG). Firstly, the factors that influence the LVRT of PMSG are analyzed in details. A coordinated application strategy of these factors is presented.
