Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been impacting our daily lives in some way or the other. The Education sector is no exception to AI. The way knowledge is imparted to students has evolved many folds where machine learning will be the future of Education. AI is currently taking its baby steps in India and has a huge potential to grow. Understanding the limitations with the traditional methods of teaching and its difficulty in catering to the changing needs of the students , AI is the need of the hour. The main objective of the paper will be to understand how AI can be used strategically along with conventional methods to reap the benefits of the advancement in technology whereby creating an equity for learning. The paper will also suggest measures to the Government and education institutions to integrate AI in their curriculum to provide sustainable and lifelong learning. Finally the paper also focuses on how the teaching fraternity should be ready to accept AI and adapt to the new technology for educating the masses. The researcher has designed a structured questionnaire to collect primary data from the respondents.
