Abstract

Cross-layer is becoming a studying area for wireless communications. In this paper, we focus on the cross layer design of PHY and MAC layers. By comparing previous research in such area, we find that there is a strong need to combine multiple key parameters in the multimedia wireless sensor networks through cross-layer schemes.
