Abstract

An approach was proposed an effect way to locate eyes, nose and mouth three feature regions. First of all, using graying color human face images, Sobel edge detection, binarization to distinguish the facial region, and then with the help of prior knowledge of face structure and gray projection method to locate the facial feature regions. Take the size of 100 * 100 color images of human faces as an example, experiments show that this method can accurately locating the key features of human face region in a simple, reliable and practical way.
面部特征区域定位方法
