Abstract

For the territory of the Crimean Peninsula, the problem of water scarcity is particularly acute, which has worsened since 2020. Reservoirs located in the Crimea and allowing to solve the problem of water scarcity, with their small number, are affected by both natural and anthropogenic environmental factors. In order to reduce the negative impact of external environmental factors on reservoirs in the Crimea, environmental monitoring is carried out, which allows you to quickly obtain data on their condition. The article presents the results of environmental monitoring of the Kutuzov reservoir since 2016. The history of the construction of the Kutuzov reservoir, as well as its main parameters are considered. Using remote sensing data and geoinformation modeling methods, data on the dynamics of the coastline of the Kutuzov reservoir and changes in the reservoir mirror area are presented.
