The results of the study confirmed that mentoring moderates the relationship between managerial effectiveness and employee engagement. Work engagement is an imperative barometer of occupational well-being of both employees and the organisations. Organisations need to increase the percentage of their engaged managers, until they do it they have little hope of increasing engaged workforce. Organisations can make learning and development a priority for creating engaged managers. Abstract

The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between mentoring, managerial effectiveness and employee engagement.
