The research on mixer vector characteristic measurement based on de-embedding

Abstract

With wide use of all kinds of advanced digital vector modulation techniques, magnitude and phase response of a mixer must be measured. Disadvantages of the current measurement methods include complex hardware setup and complicated measurement procedure. A new method based de-embedding is presented in this paper, all vector performances of a mixer can be measured by traditional network analyzer without additional hardware and software options.
