Much has been written about the impact of the management consultancy industry. Dealing in the business of thought leadership and the latest ideas (Sturdy, 2011), management consultancy is also a highly diverse industry and can be extremely innovative (Williams, 2019). Researchers have explored how management consultants achieve success in what is also a highly competitive and cut-throat sector.
