High-Q Resonant Section with Sparse Spectrum

Abstract

New resonant sections for microwave filters on dielectric resonators (DR) have been investigated. Spectrum of resonant frequencies and coupling coefficients for parasitic modes are examined for section with metal holders of DR. New sections provide high strength characteristics, sparse spectrum of resonant frequencies, wide rejection band and high quality factor.
