So, teachers have to give more attention to the addressed problems. This study aims to examine the effectivity of the training for kindergarten teacher to uplift pupils’ reading skill through the jolly phonics method. This study involved 29 participants who work as kindergarten teacher in Jember. The training consisted of the presentation from experts, group discussion, role play, pre-test, and post-test. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test to examine the score difference before and after the training was implemented. Result shows that there is significant increasement (p=0,000) of the participants’ score after the training was implemented. Abstract

最近,与学生在学校的阅读技能有关的问题越来越多。因此,教师必须更多地关注所解决的问题。本研究旨在探讨幼儿教师透过快乐拼读法提升小学生阅读能力的训练效果。本研究涉及29名于12月从事幼儿园教师工作的被试。培训包括专家介绍、小组讨论、角色扮演、前测和后测。数据分析采用Wilcoxon Signed Ranks检验,检验训练前后的得分差异。结果显示,培训实施后,参与者的得分有显著提高(p= 0000)。本研究结果可作为学校实施快乐拼读教学法提高小学生阅读能力的附加参考。
