However in this the problem of suppressing the desired information is not taken into account. In this letter, we are presenting L0 norm and ant colony optimisation based filter which not only enhance the quality of the image but also suppress the unwanted wrinkles from the human faces, thus using the image enhancement algorithm from both perspective i.e. to enhance the quality of the detail layer as well as to suppress the unwanted information. Simulation results shows that the signal quality is improved and mean square error is considerably reduced using this approach.
