For short time prediction, linear approximation of the open-circuit voltage (OCV) has advantage of simple calculation. However, the prediction of the OCV has large errors especially for the long time interval. Therefore, this paper proposes piecewise-linear model of the OCV for prediction of the available peak power. Abstract
Available peak power of Li-ion battery is crucial index describing ability of consistent energy supply.
