Abstract

Heating systems have been widely applied in a wide range of industries for generations. One of the most popular heating systems is the hot air blower system, which is used in this study. This paper outlines the development, and implementation of a Fuzzy Proportional Integral Derivative (FPID) controller with model reference in controlling the heating system. Simulation study was carried out on unit step input. The proposed controller's performance is evaluated against an FPID controller based on the simulation results.
