Generally shielding effectiveness (SE) is used to judge the shielding performance of the enclosure against external electromagnetic waves. This paper aims at analysing the influence of aperture coupling on enclosure SE for the purpose of accurately predicting the SE of enclosure with different apertures. The relationship between the scale factor of SE and the spacing and number of apertures in TE101 mode is deduced. Abstract
