Abstract

In Brillouin-distribution fiber sensing system, it is important to get narrow-line-width and stable optical pulse as input light. Based on this point, the optical modulations have being studied and it was found that the external modulation using lithium niobate ( LiNbO3 ) electro-optics modulator in Brillouin distribution fiber sensing system was good choice. This paper introduced this kind of modulation, including its mechanism, its operation principle. As a result, the optimum optical pulse was gotten under the condition that the modulator was operated correctly. 布里渊分布光纤传感系统电光调制器的研究
