Metoclopramide increases the number of solid epithelial islands in the adult rat thymuses.

Abstract

The effect metoclopramide on thymocyte proliferation and the histological picture of the rat thymuses was investigated. A significant increase in the epithelial component of the thymus was found. On the other hand, metoclopramide administration did not influence the thymocyte proliferation.
