Design of an Intelligent Inspection System for Belt Conveyors in Ports

Abstract

Belt conveyors are the key equipment of bulk material transportation in ports. In the daily operation process, performance of belt conveyors are mostly inspected by manual, which are time-consuming and low-efficient.in this paper, a novel intelligent inspection system for a belt conveyor was put up. The main composition and function were introduced. In the near future, intelligent inspection for belt conveyors will be well applied.
