Abstract
The reliability of PMSM drives has been dealt with an important factor in industrial applications requiring a precise operation and high-performance. This paper proposes the fault diagnosis for open-phase faults of PMSM drives using an Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) and DC-link current information.
