Abstract
Methods of assessing the effectiveness of the protection is this: on the basis of the criterion of Neyman - Pearson obtained an analytic expression for the probability of correct detection of small terrestrial objects matrix radiometric passive-active systems in the millimeter band. This expression allows to determine the maximum signal to - noise needed for robust detection or non-detection (missing object - goals, i.e., pass the object in a given region of space, subject to availability) small-size ground targets. Also obtained the expression for radio brightness contrast, which allows to determine the maximum range of detection (not detected), which in total allows you to assess the effectiveness of passive protection of the object. Criterion of the effectiveness of remedies is loss of detection range (zoom range not detected) due to the use of means of protection of objects. As a means of protecting ground object is the use of camouflage cover in the form of radar absorbing material on a network basis, which ensures the absorption of electromagnetic waves visible, centimeter and millimeter.
