A brief introduction of "technique regulation for protection of electro-static discharge"

Abstract

Electrostatic discharge is one of the most serious interference sources for electronic elements and devices. In the 21 century, the techniques of computer science, automatic control, telecommunication and micro electronics will group up very quickly. All these techniques are concentrated into a large building and/or individual workshop. For satisfying this situation, the Shanghai Construction Committee organized the interrelated institutes, companies and some experts to establish this regulation. It will be executed in the early 2000s. The essential contents of the regulation cover classification of the work environment for electrostatic protection, grounding technique, and material properties.
