Abstract

This paper presents a target orientation identifying system for a tracking robot, which contains two parts: the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter is carried by the target and transmits a certain signal. The receiver, with an antenna array, can identify the orientation of the target by measuring the phase difference of signal received by different antennas in the antenna array.
