Professional standards in the sphere of tourism and hospitality: practices of development and application

Abstract

The presented work considers modern practices for the development and application of professional standards in the field of service and tourism education and the practical activities of organizations of the tourism and hospitality industry, assessed the educational and practical potential of the approved professional standard "Guide" and the draft professional standard "Specialist in the formation, promotion and sale of a tourist product". Conclusions were made about the need for mandatory and competent accounting of the provisions of professional standards when developing educational standards for higher and secondary education, approximate educational programs.
