Surface Waves Along the Interface of Stably Stratified Liquids

Abstract

The problem of propagation of traveling surface waves along the interface of two stably stratified inviscid unlimited semi-infinite liquid media of different densities is considered. The dispersion relations of wave motions and expressions for the flows of the amount of matter and energy in both liquids are obtained and analyzed.
