Abstract

A chaotic audio signal synthesizer used for treating tinnitus in otolaryngology is proposed. Chaos theories are applied to generate random and non-duplicate rhythms and pitches respectively. The parameters of chaos function can be adjusted so that patients and clinicians can select proper chaotic signal types to improve the effect of treatment. The spectrum analysis on generated music sequences are analyzed to obtain suggested parameters, while they can be applied on a portable device to achieve the goal of user-friendly tinnitus therapy.
混沌信号合成器在耳鸣治疗便携式设备上的应用
