Abstract
This paper describes the prototype project of low-noise digitally controlled variable resistor and capacitor modules, which can be used to change the transmittance of the PLL filter without resoldering its components. Devices were designed and built as a tool for rapid evaluation and optimisation of ultra low noise PLL circuits, such as those used in particle accelerators.
