Abstract
The paper presents design consideration for the LLC resonant DC/DC converter with a capacitive output filter. Different conditions for receiving ZVS commutation are discussed, as well as the possibility of using ZVS drivers, allowing operation with soft switching within wide load range. The design procedure was verified through simulation and experimental results.
