Abstract

This paper presents a Dual Rate Output feedback Discrete-Time Networked Sliding Mode Controller (DNSMC) for the networked environment. The sliding surface and the sliding mode controller are modified to take care of two major constrains i.e. network induced delay and packet loss due to introduction of network between plant and controller. The compensators are introduced to compensate both the delays concurrently, namely from sensor to controller and controller to actuator.
