Internet of Things: Today and tomorrow

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is buzzword that is widely used in different domains. This paper is explaining current notion of IoT and status in the technological and research point of view, mostly in Europe. Future of IoT is bright and trends in number of devices and money involved are showing significant growth. There are still challenges in technical, business and social domains and some of them are tackled in the paper.
