Associating the properties of linear transformation with shift operator, the state space system is equal to the input-output equation. The iterative parameter estimation algorithm based on the least squares is served as identifying the state delay system, and all of the data are fully utilized in each iteration, which can produce high precision parameter estimation. Abstract
In this paper, the problem of parameter estimation for state-space systems with time-delay is studied. Associating the properties of linear transformation with shift operator, the state space system is equal to the input-output equation. The iterative parameter estimation algorithm based on the least squares is served as identifying the state delay system, and all of the data are fully utilized in each iteration, which can produce high precision parameter estimation. Simulation results illustrate that the algorithm is effective.
