Analysis of Lightweight Cryptographic Protocols in Precision Agriculture - A Case Study

Abstract

In this paper, we propose and simulate a layered architecture for Wireless Sensor Networks in Precision Agriculture in order to estimate power consumption of several light-weight energy-efficient cryptographic algorithms. Simulation was carried using the Atarraya simulator and simulation description, results and observations are presented.
