Abstract

Nowadays, several commercial and open source game engines are available for game developers. These are usually using a monolithic approach as the engines are solely meant to be end-to-end tools for game development without considering their benefits in other areas that may need some of the engine’s features but will not be published as a game. This paper presents a novel fully functional game engine with 3D rendering and physics capabilities that can be used as a lightweight toolbox for games and other not necessarily game related projects.
