Abstract

This study presents the Angular Particle Swarm Optimization(APSO) algorism which is an optimization technique, in order to reconfigure micro-grids. Micro-grids are concepts of distribution system that unifies directly with customers and distributed generations(DGs). It could supply the electric power to customers and do the power transaction using a power market by operating the economic dispatch through several DGs of diverse cost function. If there are a large number of micro-grids in one distribution system, it needs to adjust the configuration of many micro-grids in order to supply the electric power with the minimum generation cost to all customers who are under the distribution system.
