First, cognitive anxiety had a positive effect on burnout, while self-confidence had a negative effect. Second, cognitive and somatic anxiety influence positively cognitive and behavioral commitment. Third, burnout had negative effect on cognitive and behavioral commitment. In conclusion, cognitive anxiety, the sub-factor of competitive state anxiety, increases burnout, contrastively self-confidence prevents burnout of collegiate Taekwondo athletes.
