Abstract

FIELD Rochester City School District, #50, Rochester, NY (9/02-12/02) EXPERIENCE Grade 1 – Provided support in a LEAP classroom (Learning English through Applied Programs). Facilitated small group instruction, focusing on reading and art projects for emergent speakers. Conducted individualized assessments to determine levels of understanding for beginning words. Also assessed reading skills of a 2 grade student, and developed lessons and activities for individual tutoring sessions. Learned successful collaboration during push-in support.
