KEPEMIMPINAN STRATEGIS DALAM PERTAHANAN INDONESIA

Abstract

This study aims to explain further the strategic leadership of national defense implemented by Indonesia. This research was developed using the literature study method. This study explains that due to the development of science and technology, globalization has had a significant impact on people's lives worldwide. The loss of space-time boundaries and the absence of territorial boundaries create new forms of threat in the form of cyber-attacks and modern warfare, namely asymmetric warfare or a combination with other forms of war such as hybrid wars and proxy wars. This is a reality that every country in the world, including Indonesia, must face. If it does not adapt, it will become the target of countries that can take advantage of advances in science and technology. Globalization in a country affects various fields of life, one of which is the field of defense and security. Therefore, strategic leadership policies are needed to answer these problems and maintain the defense and security of the Indonesian state.
