THE PRIORITIES AND MEGATRENDS OF THE NEW DECADE IN THE RUSSIAN NATIONAL POLICY

Abstract

Aim. To analyze the main results of the implementation of the state national policy in Russia in 2012-2022, highlighting the main megatrends that are going to influence the development of the international relations sphere in the next decade.Methodology. The article analyzes the results of the state national policy implementation over the past ten years. Applying the analytical and systematic methods, the authors highlight the main risks and challenges for the international and interreligious agreement of Russia in the nearest decade. The prediction method makes it possible to draw conclusions about the status of the international relations sphere. Working on the results of all-Russian population census of 2010, the authors had to use the method of statistical analysis.Results. According to the authors, the main megatrends, which will define the development of the sphere of international relations, are the following: mechanisms for building a modern civil nation and a new ethno-cultural image of Russia, the development of “people's diplomacy” channels, the institutional and regulatory changes, and the integration of the new territories.Research implications. The results obtained may be used for the development and the adoption of long-term programs for the implementation of state national policy both in the country and in the separate regions and municipalities of Russia.
