Abstract

Cloud Computing is a demanding and on growing technology in a distributed environment. It has tremendous capabilities such as low cost adaptability sharing the resources only when it is required and scalability. Due to its capabilities it has become one of the busiest research areas in Information Technology. Besides their capability to share the recourses over the widespread internet security becomes a fundamental issue that averts a large number of consumers to embrace it. There are many issues related to the security such as Data security Insecure API Technology Vulnerabilities in sharing mode Non updated Versions & Patching Improper use of Cloud and Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS). Throughout a previous couple of years we found that DDoS attacks are jeopardized in cloud environment. In view of the DDoS assaults the programmer grabs the power of online administration by settling it through gruesome and huge amount of data through various sources. The paper aims is to investigate vulnerability of the cloud platform due to which DDoS attacks happen and the methodology that they use to influence the administration's accessibility. Why the existing defense mechanisms are not sufficient? Also the impact of DDoS in cloud environment will be discussed in this paper
