This procedure prompts data congestion, increased dormancy and high energy utilization, especially for hubs situated close to the sink, because of the gigantic measure of information stream. To mitigate these issues, a portable emissary (PE) was proposed in order to give an alternative approach for customary information gathering procedures in WSNs.
